Description:
Current River Area Vocational School offers the S.T.A.Y. (Support Tactics for At-Risk Youth) Program to students identified by middle and high school counselors as "At-Risk" of not earning a high school diploma. Basic skill instruction in required middle and high school classes is combined with job skill training in a vocational class (for 10th through 12th grade students). This is a way for students to earn credit toward graduation, along with preparation for a good job. Our goal is to provide success opportunities for all our students. We believe that school success and job success are the keys to a productive and happy future.
