Small Gasoline Engine Repair Clipart POWER EQUIPMENT

Taught By: Mr. Skip Daniels

Description:
Small Engine Technicians repair and service many various types of equipment. Today's modern small engines and small engine powered equipment are becoming more sophisticated as the public who use these items demands more convenience and safety features on an increasingly wide range of equipment.
Small Engine Technicians must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, make the appropriate repair, and return the equipment to the customer in a prompt and professional manner.
The Small Gas Engines program at Current River Area Vocational School is intended for the beginner as well as the semi-skilled technician who needs a refresher course. A firm foundation in safety, tools, engine principles, shop practices, and advanced technical procedures are taught. The student works in both a classroom and shop environment. Hands-on practice is stressed in a well equipped modern shop.
Current River Area Vocational School offers Small Gas Engines to 11th and 12th grade high school students and to adults. The classes meet five days a week, morning or afternoon, for three hours a day. To receive the full benefit of the training, two years of training is recommended, but not required.
