  • Auto Mechanics
    The Auto Mechanics program at Current River Area Vocational School is intended for the beginner as well as the semi-skilled mechanic who needs a refresher course.

  • Brick Masonary
    Masonry is a family of crafts that include brick and block masonry, fireplace construction, and specialized brick and block construction.

  • Business Technology
    The Business Technology curriculum includes both the Business Technology class and the Secretarial Technology class.

  • Carpentry
    Carpentry is the single largest craft in the construction industry. The construction industry is a vital part of the nation's economy. It employs millions of people with different trades and skills.

  • Computer Technology
    A basic foundation of Interactive Multimedia are essential to produce young people that are ready for the needs of a computerized world.

  • Health Occupations
    This course satisfies requirements for "Nurse Assistant in Long Term Care Facility." The student who maintains the required 70% grade and completes a competency list may take a test to become a Certified Nurse Assistant.

  • Residential Wiring
    Residential Wiring is the study of electrical wiring, both in the HOME and in commercial buildings.

  • Power Equpiment
    Today's modern small engines and small engine powered equipment are becoming more sophisticated as the public who use these items demands more convenience and safety features on an increasingly wide range of equipment

  • Welding
    Welding is a vocational training program designed to provide the student with the training needed to find employment in the welding or related fields.

  • At Risk
    Current River Career Center offers the S.T.A.Y. (Support Tactics for At-Risk Youth) Program to students identified by middle and high school counselors as "At-Risk" of not earning a high school diploma.

  • Special Needs
    In order to enhance opportunities for special needs students, the vocational school employs a Vocational Resource Educator to help those students.

  • Evening Classes
    Continuing Education Classes Available.
